dinner? for a balanced, healthy diet?
im a little confused about what i should eat for dinner. i usually will have oatmeal with some blueberrys for breakfast, chicken and vegies for lunch, an apple for a snack. so i have already had my carbs for breakfast and protien at lunch. should i have more protien at dinner? ideas would be helpful.
salad? fish? spaghetti squash? soup?
thanks so much
i would go for 1/4 of the plate protein (turkey, chicken, peanuts, some type of seeds, red meat, etc). 1/4 of the plate some type of healthy carbs (whole grain pasta/rice, potatoes, etc). 1/2 plate vegetables (broccoli, spinach, salad, green beans, brussel sprouts, etc). glass of milk on the side would be ideal.
hope this helps! always vary your dinner. it helps you keep on track.
