What is the best diet for zebra danios?
I have a tank with 2 giant zebra danios and 4 zebra danios. I would like to make them as energetic and colorful as possible. I know they will eat almost anything, but what it the BEST Diet for them? It would help if you told me a feeding schedule to do.
The giant ones school with the little ones.
Is it ok to feed granules instead of flakes?
If I was you I would feed them once when I get up and once when I go to sleep. Feed them some tetra color enhancing flakes, regular food, and blood-worms and some freeze dried shrimp as treats.
You may also want to get a few more to form a bigger group, but since they are schooling with each other you could just leave them be.
Also only feed them as much as they can eat in a minute or two so they don’t get over feed. If you do a 20% water change every week and they should live a happy healthy life.

Well first you should get at least 6 of each (Assuming you have the right sized tank which from memory you don’t) and feed a staple diet of high quality, hormone free flake food with occasional bloodworms, brine shrimp, microworms etc
EDIT: In my experience granules and danios don’t mix. Lets just say they get stuck
