It appears that US mass media totally missed the plant-based diet recommendations of T. Colin Campbell, Dean Ornish, Neal Barnard, and Caldwell Esseylstyn. Peer reviewed studies over three decades show that cancer incidents can be reduced by nearly an order of magnitude.

Of course not. If the media did report it, the big pharmaceutical industries would pull their lucrative ads right along with the meat and dairy association. Oh yes, let’s not forget Kellog’s, McDonalds, and all the rest of those ‘food’ providers.

Harvard is rebuilding the food pyramid. If enough institutes join in, we might see the FDA follow suit, but I’m not holding my breath.

I’ve known about this for years. It’s finally gaining a little traction as more and more consumers jump aboard and discover the incredible health benefits of giving your body the nutrients it needs instead of the flavors your pallet likes. It’s amazing how you can eat all you want and still lose weight. Provided you eat to live instead of living to eat.

I had diabetes thanks to the Standard American Diet (SAD, for short). Note that I said ‘had’. I have not taken a single drug or doctor recommended treatment for it in almost three years. Not only is my blood sugar in control, I haven’t been sick in years. Wish more people would pay attention.
