I am new to the Raw vegan diet?
Sunday, September 5th, 2010I live in a small town so keep that in mind, i have access to a wal-mart, a local market, and a farmers market…
I would like some tips on this diet, I would also like some ideas for snacks that you can buy from the places above and also some recipes?
The Farmer’s Market is your friend. Go there, get whatever is in season. Make sure you get soy beans in some form (edamame come to mind), because you need complete proteins In Some Form.
Local Markets come next. If there is a co-op, let that be your first stop (they will carry stuff to help you on your quest and stave off malnutrition).
Let Wal-Mart be your last option, but keep in mind you’ll inevitably have to go there to fill the holes in your diet.
Be Very Careful and make sure you plan your Diet carefully or malnutrition is real risk. Also make sure you chew your food VERY thoroughly. Without heat to break down the cell walls of plants (we humans don’t have the enzymatic hardware to do the job) your teeth are the only things which can extract nutrients from them.

How can i tone up using diet/gym?
Sunday, August 15th, 2010I am a 21 year old male who is pretty average in weight. I would like some advice on how i can tone up my stomach and loose weight around my stomach and face. I am willing to do everything to make it as fast as possible. I have access to a gym and would like some advice on which machines are the best to use and for how long. Almost a year ago I had my personal struggle with having too much weight, I have been “big” for most of my life till now. Since then I built up my will power and changed my diet so that I cut down on fatty foods and starchy foods.
I would recommend you cut down on over indulgent foods, and just walk part of your journey to work/school or wherever. Basically move around whenever you can….lol
Losing fat was a struggle for me, but there are guides and resources which can help you lose fast much more faster without the pain of doing it yourself and having a lack of knowledge on the subject.

Friday, July 16th, 201015 years of age. Has access to gym. Currently small-medium built; not cut or big. Looking for bigger pecs, abs and arms. What machines should I focus on? How many sets/reps do you guys recommend on each machine? How long should I aim for on the treadmill? What kind of diet - Asian culture, so usually it’s white rice with some chicken/vegetable shit. And for Pecs: Puships or arm-row machine
Arms
Biceps: Barbell curls
Forearms: Wrist Curls
Abs: Twist ups And Sit- Ups
Do 15 reps an like 2-3 sets for pecs
Biceps 15-20 reps and 2 sets
Forearms Same as Biceps
Abs 20-30 reps and 1-2 sets
What kind of diet/excercise to get rid of chest fat?
Thursday, July 1st, 2010Sup. 15 years of age. No access to gym yet, has 5lb weights at home. Just have a thin-ish layer of fat covering my chest, what kind of Diet/excercises would I need to go through to lose the layer of fat? When I flex, it’s really hard, but there’s just a layer of fat covering it .. it looks like manboobs. Summer’s here, really need some help. Thanks in advance.
eat really healthy mate. watch what kind of things you put into your body. do not ingest more than 75 grams of fat each day!!! but shoot for like 50 bro. that in combo with cardio. lots of cardio, 4 times a week……run brother run. you will be good to go within a month for sure and probably the best shape of ur 15 years of life. BUT STICK TO IT!!!!!! DONT EVER SKIP A DAY OR "DO IT LATER".

Monday, June 14th, 2010I am 15 and i have asked other questions about weight loss and such but i don’t know how i can have access to these essential things in diets because it’s not what my mom gets at the store. is there a way i can still have a successful Diet even when i can’t always have something like wheat, potatoes, or other carbohydrates?
I know how it is. Next time your mom goes shopping, go with her. If she won’t buy you the stuff you need, BUY IT YOURSELF. Tell her you want to lose weight, or just say you want to be healthier.

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010i am 14 years old. i weigh 181 pounds and i am 5′10. the only sport i play is basketball. i need to know a good Diet so i can shed some fat and put on some muscle. Eventually i would want to come close to a six pack.
