Safe teen diet and exercise schedule?

Monday, August 23rd, 2010

Hi :)
I’m sixteen and at risk of being overweight, so I want to begin exercising and eating healthy on a daily basis, especially since it’s summertime. I wanted to know what would be a safe diet plan that doesn’t require any medication, Diet sodas, or fancy shmancy meals that cost a lot of money? And is there a good workout schedule that I could use that would strengthen and carve abs? I know it was kind of a long question, sorry for the inconvenience, but it sure would help! Thanks! :)

My waist is 30 inches…won’t go down no matter how much I diet and exercise…please help?!?

Friday, August 20th, 2010

Even with persistent exercise and healthy eating, my waist will not budge from 30 inches.

Why is this? I want to get to 27 or 26 inches. Also, how much weight would you have to lose to reduce the waist by 3-4 inches?

Maybe you are meant to have a 30 inch waist. Not everyone is meant to look alike. What is more important is your waist to hip ratio. Did you know Marilyn Monroe was a size 14 and even decades after her death she is revered for her beauty. This whole trying to have the body of a 12 year old boy thing is a fad and it will change.
