I’m going on the cabbage soup diet because of this event that i want to lose weight for and i was wondering if i would lose more weight if i went on the Diet while drinking the lemonade cleanse thing
will it work or will the weight loss be the same?

Here are my ten top tips to tip the scales your way:
CREATE YOUR OWN VIRTUAL REALITY.

# EAT NUTRITIOUS WHOLE FOODS.

# ELIMINATE HIGH GLYCEMIC FOODS.

# DRINK PLENTY OF PURE LIQUIDS.

# MOVE YOUR BODY. BUILD MUSCLE.

# INCREASE HIGH FIBER FOODS.

# CUT OUT BAD FATS, ADD GOOD ONES.

# ENJOY DOING IT YOUR WAY.

# HAVE A SIMPLE ORGANIZED PLAN.

# FORGIVE YOURSELF AND MOVE ON.

On the cabbage soup diet can I substitute fruit for vegetables?`?

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Im on day 6 of the cabbage soup Diet, and today im meant to eat beef and vegetables, but I really dislike vegetables and i love fruit.
And since vegetables and fruit are pretty much the same i was wondering if i could have fruit instead of veg?

My guess would be no. The difference is all the sugar in fruit. Veggies of course have some sugar too, but not nearly as much as fruit. Why not try cucumbers? They’re watery and refreshing like fruit! Plus, they’re a great diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and very good for you all around!

Can i go on the cabbage soup diet for 3 weeks?

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

I Know this is not a healthy option and if i had more time i would of dieted properly, However i dont so…
Would i loose weight if i just ate 3 bowls of cabbage soup a day for 3 weeks? And drink a lot of water, And how much would i loose in 3 weeks? As im Off to turkey on 9th August and really need to loose as much as possible!!

Not a good idea. 3 weeks on the diet and you probably wouldn’t be fit to go on holiday.
"Some people have reported feeling light-headed, weak, and have suffered from decreased concentration"

"Most of the weight lost is water and not fat, and therefore not permanent. In addition, the recipe for the soup as often given has an extremely high sodium content, usually to make it palatable, and the diet provides practically zero protein for several days at a time. Many people report feeling weak and light-headed during the course of the Diet."

Due to the lack of energy that the cabbage soup diet will give you, your energy stores in both muscles and liver will be greatly reduced, resulting in a lower body fluid content, which results in you feeling tired throughout the day.

Couldn’t you make the best of it and try to burn more calories than you are (healthily and sensibly) eating?

If you use up 3,500 calories more than you eat, you will lose about 1 pound in weight

Has anyone tried the cabbage soup diet and does it work?

Friday, May 21st, 2010

I’m thinking of trying the cabbage soup diet, can anyone give me a some feedback/advice on it?

To lose weight you have to:
eat less
eat healthier
exercise more.

any fad nonsense like cabbage soup or grape pits will only damage your body.

Until you develop the willpower to stay on a REAL Diet….don’t wear stripes
