ideas on foods to lose weight? advice?

so i guess today was like a slack day in my Diet lol
im a 16 yr old girl,5′4”, 110 lbs. ive lost 20, trying at the last stubborn few..
so today for breakfast i had a serving of oatmeal(150 calories) with 20 blueberries, a banana, and a serving(110 calories) of dannon lite&fit fat free yogurt. ..i overate:( felt like i was gonna bust!
then for lunch, i had 1 grilled chicken breast, 1 chicken&spinach sausage(110 calories), 1 cup of steamed veggies( 50 calories).
then for a rare treat i had a homemade ice cream sandwich(2 cookies..130 calories each…and a tiny bit of ice cream in the middle..it soaked into the cookies, so you couldnt see anything..so like 100 calories for that?)
then i went for a 30 minute bike ride and drank a ton of water, so i was soo full i didnt eat dinner.
i had a serving(20 calories) of metamucil too.

what should i do to boost my metabolism to keep losing weight! these last few lbs are taking forever :( am i doing anything wrong?
about how many calories did i eat today??

oh, and if anyone has any low calorie recipes that are filling,healthy, cheap and easy for a teen to make, please share! i get tired of the same things over and over, therefore my cheat days are unhealthy..like today..

eat healthier foods like apples almonds fruits vegetables stuff like that and drink water and better drinks

How can I improve my diet and lose weight?

I weigh 128 pounds and would like to weigh 118 in a month. I am 17 years old and 5′5". In order to give you the idea of my average food intake, here’s what I’ve eaten today: 2 turkey sandwiches (fully loaded), 3 chocolate rice cakes, 1 bowl of all natural cookie dough ice cream, and 1 simply fruit roll up. No matter what I do, it seems like I can’t lose weight. I go on a walk an hour each day which is about my only exercise but it seems like I should be still losing weight. I’ve gained a lot of weight in the last year. Up until about 2 months ago, I would eat whenever I got bored and it would be unhealthy food and I wouldn’t exercise. I’ve stopped eating like that most of the time but I can’t seem to lose weight. I have a stomach and love handles. I sleep at least 8 hours a night and have no stress. Whats my problem? And please don’t recommend any diet or exercise machine that costs. Thanks for all the future advice.

Well - it’s a good time in your life to learn about food - and you can do the Atkins diet. It allows people to lose weight very well - and lots of doctors do it these days as they’ve finally figured out that it’s quite healthy.

If you have a tendency to gain weight, you need only to cut out the sugars - and this might be something you want to learn early in your life. it will pay BIG dividends down the road.

Get a copy of Atkins "New Diet Revolution" - it’s in the library - or get a used copy off of Amazon Books.

Does this seem like a good diet plan?will i lose weight?

So i am 15 , and i want to lose at least 10 points . i weigh about 120 ? im 5′4ish .
i plan to….

-cut out ALL junk food . [fast food,chips,cookies,icecream,etc]
-and do at least 25 situps a day , and raise the number up cause i want to start easy .
-run ? but for how long each day ?

i want to accomplish this , what should i eat / do that can help ?

im trying to change my Diet of fast food into a healthy one and lose weight fast through eating healthier and exercising more. I know what not to eat such as friend foods, candy, cookies, soda, etc…..so what should i eat? snacks? drink?
also, what are good options for me as i am away from home most of the day, what are good fast food options or what should i pack for lunch and snack? thanks
