What is an easy, effictive diet I can stick to?
Tuesday, August 17th, 2010I’m a 16 year old girl and an trying to lose 10 pounds and am having a very hard time finding and sticking to a good diet plan. Any tips/ sugestions would be great
You don’t need to be on a Diet. Just eat healthy food. Eat three meals a day and two snacks. Your meals should include protein (chicken, tuna, low fat cottage cheese, skim milk, salmon, eggs, etc..), healthy carbs (fruits, vegetables, whole wheat/whole grain), and healthy fats (nuts, seeds, etc..). Watch portions. Some people will pile food on their plate and sometimes it is 2-4 servings. 1 serving of chicken is 4 oz, 1 serving of whole grain brown rice is 1 cup, 1 serving of milk is 1 cup, and 1 serving of cheese is 1/4 cup. Calories add up very fast if you don’t pay attention to portions.
But make sure you exercise too.
