DIET HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Saturday, March 20th, 2010

ok so i workout a lot. i do kickboxing, treadmill, p90x, turbo jam and a bunch of other systems. i workout differently to keep my interest. ok so i know how to workout and i know how to diet. i Diet very well but i splurged a lot and gained like 15 pounds since christmas. Is that EVEN POSSIBLE!!!! omg im sooooo nervous because i never let myself gain at all and i guess i just had some fun and kept eating regular food. I have been dieting for so long i forgot how good real food tasted. so i kinda took it to another level lol. Is that so bad???? ok well now im ready to get back on schedule but i kept messing up!!!!!!! please can someone give me encouragement!!!!!!!! i really need it!!!!!!!!!!

Hey you are likely to live for many many years so gaining this extra weight for a few months is not going to hurt your overall health and you can get back on track - if you want to.
Just think of it as an extended holiday period - which we all deserve and it sounds like you have been working so hard and being so healthy that you deserve to let your hair down (or in this case your belt loose) so put your head up and look forward!! No looking bad, just get on track because even though that food tastes good you know its not good for your body and you know you are better off without!!!
YOU CAN DO IT!!

Diet help????????????????????

What are some good Diets or weight loss plans that work fast that are naturual? Also, what websites are there with good weight loss plans. Again, I dont want to have to take pills or supplements.

To lose weight you just need to burn more than you eat, it is as simple as that.
Putting it into practice is more difficult than saying it of course but knowing this simple fact ensures that if you take even one small step towards losing weight at least you take it in the right direction and not the wrong one like many do,.,…

How long to see changes?

Truth is, everyone’s body is different. What works for some or many may not work for you. You need to pay attention to your body. I wish I could tell you more specifics, but I really can’t. All the successful people you see are that way because they found something that works for them.

Is there a pre-made (frozen) raw diet I can feed my ferrets?

Friday, March 19th, 2010

I am wondering if changing my ferrets diet to a raw Diet will help with my one ferret with his IBD. Can NOT have veggies/fruits in the raw pattys.

How do I get them to change over to the new food?

Unsure if anyone makes it for ferrets, but I can tell you of some that are made for dogs and cats. Bravo has a line of raw meats made with 100% meat from one animal and no other ingredient. This is their basics and their blend line. I know of chicken, turkey, lamb and beef. However, they are not balanced, which should make it ideal for use with ferrets. There are no added vitamins or minerals, so you would have to add in the vitamins they need, unless someone else makes a blend of vitamins for ferrets.

Nature’s Variety also has a line of frozen raw food and it is all balanced. You would have to check the guaranteed analysis to see if the protein content is suitable for ferrets. However, I’m not sure which line of their products don’t have added organic fruits and vegetables.

There are many other manufactures of frozen raw food-Stella and Chewy’s, Primal, and Northwest Natural’s, but I don’t know enough about their products to relate it to ferrets.

Help i need to lose weight… im thinking of doing either the subway diet (one 6inch turkey no cheese) for lunch and one for dinner.. or should i do chicken and vegetables … i need a strict Diet…and i need this weight to come off quickly..i weigh 204 and im 5′6. i want to get down to 135. please help =)

I find that drinking water helps a lot in shedding weight. It isn’t so much the water but the lack of sugar that’s in drinks that does it.
I also walk whenever I can. Walking is very good for losing weight, so is eating less,.. Try it.

I am needing help with a diet plan..help!?

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Here is a little background. I am currently 5′1 and weigh 150 pounds. I would like to weigh about 120. I have never had a weight issue so it is hard for me to get into a routine of eating "right" & exercising. I need the do the same thing pretty much everyday. I know that will get old but I think if I start seeing results then I wont be so tempted and will want to eat healthy. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I would like to exercise at home as I have a 4 year old child.

1. Eat about 6 small complete meals throughout the day (fish, almonds, walnuts, and lean proteins in general, plenty of raw fruits and vegetables, and complex multigrain carbohydrates) spaced out about every 2-3 hours. Consume between 1500-2500 calories a day.
2. Do NOT starve yourself, do NOT binge eat.
3. Be as active as you can; nothing to do for 10 minutes? Knockout 10 elevated push-ups.
4. Eat some spicy foods; take a decent amount of vitamin C, and drink between a half-gallon and a whole gallon of WATER a day.
5. No more soda. Ever.
6. If you do drink coffee, drink it black.
7. Do at least 35 minutes of cardio straight at least once a day, at least three times a week, more if you are not trying to put on muscle.
8. Do a large amount of full body exercises whenever possible (Jumping Jacks, Pull-ups, Chin ups, dips, squats, hanging leg raises, hanging knee raises, back raises, glute ham raises, burpees)
9. Get at least 6 hours of sleep a night, but no more then 9.
10. Avoid anything deep-fried, white bread, sprinkles, and any refined sugar.
