So I recently purchased GNC Total Lean Burn 60 from GNC. Now before you go saying that’s not the way to lose weight and you must exercise and diet let me tell you that I do. I’m a 6 day hour and a half to two hour exerciser and I’m a vegetarian who doesn’t eat sweets too much. I bought these pills to see if they would help me shed some last few pounds (like 15-20). I’ve lost 20 already and I really want to keep going until I hit my goal weight. I’ve tried pills before and they have helped me in losing the 20 pounds, but recently I’ve come across this and I’ve heard this REALLY works. I’m only 5′2 so any extra weight on me REALLY shows and I don’t want to look like a little chubby oompa loompa!
Diet pills arnt anything special but a multi vitamin and whey protein will do wonders for you.
This works, Split your calories up so you get 40 % from Protein, 40% from Carbs and 20% from fats.
When im bulking i like to go 50% Protein 30 % carbs and 20 % fats. I only use this for a lifting diet though.
I dont know how much you weigh but eat Your body weight x 10 calories plus around 600 calories for physical activity every day. For me 200lbs x 10 = 2,000 + 600 = 2600 calories a day. This is how many calories ill burn durning the day. I try and stay right around this give or take 200 calories.
Now split your calories up into 6-7 small meals throughout the day. Eat lean meats ( chicken/turkey burger,egg whites, tuna, ect. ) fruits, veggies, and mutli grain breads( Slow carbs great post workout ) and my secret snack….. mixed nuts and dried fruit.
On top of this lift weights 2 days a week with 2-3 days rest in between. Then do cardio every day. I try every day but sunday. Usually either run or do heavy bag workout.
Dont neglect the weights. Keep it 8-12 reps for 3 sets of each exercise. Push yourself to failure ( Your body will refuse to lift anymore because it cant, youve ripped the muscles apart ) Do bench press, shoulder press. Tricep extensions, Dead lifts and curls. This will hit most of your upper body and can be done in about 1 hour. Give yourself like 2 mins in between lifts to let your muscles recover and lift to your full potential again.
If you lift weights your going to be putting on muscle which actually improves the way your skin looks ( Women tend to like improved skin ). tightens up the skin if you reach a decent body fat %. When I lift weights depending on what exercise i like to try and add 5-10 lbs every workout. This is key to growth, you always want to improve your lifts. For woman you wont see as big numbers but you should still look for growth. Even if its only 1 rep.
I like to keep a chart. write it down after every weight session. You want your weights and reps, its easier to make sure your making progress. Important. After workout and i mean immediatly after workout eat about 20 Grams of protein and 40 grams of carbs. If you dont want the calories get some whey protein, about a spoon full will get you your protein but you’ll need like 2 slices of grainy bread. Getting your body protein and carbs RIGHT after lifting weights stimulates faster growth. You can make this into a shake, whey protein and blended up fruit. Liquids digest faster which is what you need.
