What’s a diet plan a teen can actually STICK to & that actually WORKS?

My prom is in 3 1/2 weeks, & before then I’m looking to get rid of maybe 5 pounds. I know that it isn’t impossible, but it seems like whenever I workout or anything, I don’t lose any weight. Since I’m really impatient, I end up stopping workouts after about a week if I don’t see any improvement, so I know that I probably need to get better at being patient.
Can someone give me a Diet & exercise plan that I can stick with, for even that short period of time?

first get on a scheduale: eating and exercising.

eating:
eat healthy foods…this includes: strawberries, carrots, tomatos, celery, oranges, bannanas….etc.
NOT ONLY…will you see improvements in how your weight, you will (scientifically proven) feel better in yourself…and it healthy foods are proven to clear skin and improve hair, nails, eyesight. Also to clear skin and get healthy drink LOTS of water. bring water bottles to school…and constantly drink. Water helps because you are getting icky things out of your system.
Breakfast: Healthy cerial (you can google healthiest/best cerials) with cup of fruit onside and water.
Lunch: Instead of fruit…try some veggies…also pair this with a sandwhich or bagel.
Dinner: Eat normally (if you want to stay good, try pairing it with celery) . One rule to dinner, dont eat any junk food…!!! EVER! (and no dessert…if you want results.

Exercise: Get on a scheduale. Exercise is also proven to not only improve weight…but sleep and how you feel about yourself. Try going on a run everyday at a certain time…this way, you will get used to it! Next, do stretches every morning (around 30 min and google good stretches)

Also…you dont want to GAIN MUSCLE…you want to loose weight…therefore good exercises would be…jumping rope….ALOT of crunches (try 3 sets of 50 a day, every day) jumping rope…(also you should google exercises that help lose weight in a certain area…like your arms/legs.)

HOW TO: Be patient…as i said, get on a scheduale…therefore, when you keep eating fruit…and keeping doing an hour of exercise everyday you become used to it…and you WILLLL get results.
try to not look at your weight every time after you workout…look at it once a week, and then you will see results.

Im 13 and ive gained a few pounds but Im having a lot of trouble losing even a pound. i do cheering for 2 hours 3-4 days a week. i was planning to do the special k Diet but does it really work ?
please remember i am only 13 and i go to school 5 days a week. i also have big thighs and i need to lose the most fat there.
and i only want to lose 7 pounds i weigh 116

Thank you for asking that because Im around your age and I weigh way more than you,(so personally I think you dont need to lose anyhting) but thanks for asking this so I could get answers for myself too. By the way, dont think you are fat, if thats what your thinking because im 12 and 159lbs, so dont thin kyou are big at all. because I AM!!
btw- the Special K should most definatly work for teens

What is a good diet plan for pregnant teens?

I have been pregnant for almost two months. What would be a good Diet for me and my baby? I get nauseous really easily right now(of course) but just need some advice. I want to stay fit. Am I able to work out still?

Oh boy! Yes, let’s tell our young friend not to worry about fitness during pregnancy. That’s a fantastic idea! Maybe she can grow up to be like 2/3 of the rest of the country, overweight or obese!

Listen kid, definitely keep up the workout plan. Walking and swimming are great. I go for an hour each day (I am 26 weeks along). Eat balanced meals, plenty of fiber, lots of water, and don’t go under about 2000 calories a day. Make sure to take your prenatal vitamins and anything else your doc prescribes.

Don’t go nuts cutting calories or binging. Pregnancy is no excuse to eat anything you want. You’ll hear again and again, "your body will just gain what it wants to gain" or "you can just lose it later." This is FALSE. You can control how much you gain if you are careful and diligent. Stay in the guidelines suggested for you by your doctor, not too much or too little. Many women CAN’T take off the baby pounds, because they put on too darned many to begin with.

Personally I’m not big into eating meat (I’m not a vegetarian, I just don’t like it much) so I add protein by drinking lots of milk. I eat small meals. It’s not so bad, and by the time you hit the end of trimester 2 your stomach will be compressed enough so you won’t be able to eat a big meal anyway.

Keep it tight sister! The healthier and more fit you are going into delivery, the better your birth experience will be and the faster you’ll heal. Don’t use your pregnancy as an excuse to become a butterball, like so many women do.

well, im fifteen years old, and im about 185 pounds. because of my build, i should weight between 150 and 160. no more. i quite big boned, being german and polish. im not the most beautiful girl in the world, but id love to be either a photographer or a model. my boyfriend and friends think im perfectly fine, but i disagree since im always wearing baggy hoodies. does anyone know any good Diet plans? im up for anything that works, and that isnt overly expensive. all help is appreciated. :)

So I’m a 13 year old girl im5′11" (yes I’m very tall for my age) and I weigh 140lbs i need a diet plan to lose weight for summer(about 10 lbs) I’ll try anything except gross diets and pills. and please sumthing safe since I am a teen and still growing. Also preferably a Diet that is easy to stay on
