As a parent i have concerns over the fee i have to pay for my children’s education. What are the possible solutions to this growing problem?
The fees for education is rising by the day. What you need to do is predict the future cost of education and make savings thereafter. You can try using the Aviva Educost Tool which will help you choose from a number of Career options available and the fees for them.
Your problem may be of current nature but if you don’t plan in advance it will only add to your burden. I would suggest you use the Educost tool and be prepared from now.

Public education is free. You cannot be charged for services for students with disabilities and the local school cannot use financial reasons for not providing special education to your eligible child. This is a federal program–the local schools receive money for special education from the federal government when they do not have adequate local resources of their own.

We have noticed that more and more schools are charging fees…for sports, for art supplies, and much more more. We resent it, and worry over the financially-strapped parents having to pay these. I thought our taxes were supposed to cover everything. The people who think public education is "free" need to look harder. As for solutions…vote for people who want to address this issue. Be active in the PTA. Speak out, like you are doing. Let people know what is happening. Your child will take an art class and they need $40.00 for the supplies. In public school. They stopped providing a weekly date book for the students at my son’s school this year..and it is required, and we had to buy it. Gym required a heart monitor for exercise in addition to the clothing. Every year it goes up and up.
