What am i doing wrong? (Diet and fitness)?
I’ve been working out 6 times a week 2 times a day (Cardio) and doing strength training on top of that for the guts of 4 weeks and the scales haven’t moved at all!
I’ve asked on here before a while back what was wrong and people were calling it muscle but surely i should have lost some weight by now. I’m 9 and a half stone and i want to loose 20 pounds. Why haven’t i seen results yet.
I’m watching what i eat and counting calories, i don’t understand why i’m not loosing any weight. I weighed myself today and i cried because it hasn’t changed. Its so hard to keep working out if the scales wont move.
I’ve never had such a hard time loosing weight before.
Counting calories is wrong, they were miscalculated at the start of the century because people thought back then that we either burn or store. However, the body is more comlex, it’s not a machine. We lose by sweating, going to the toilet, etc. even by having blood going around our bodies. See the source for more details (it’s a bit scientific but you’ll understand it I think)
If you want to lose weight, you should help your body by eating enough real food, otherwise it will fight you back, it will think you are going to starve and won’t release the fat.
Do not combine carbohydrates with fats, eat both but separately. In this way insulin, the "fattening" hormone that carries fat to your cells is not released, and when it is there’s no fat to carry. Avoid all refined and artificial sugars (be aware of sugar dextrose aspartame etc. many "low cal" and "low fat" contain them) and stick to real food. Many "low-fat" foods are filled with processed carbs (and sugars), the real full fat is better. Watch this: http://vimeo.com/10533993 it makes it more clear.

Ok. how much do you weigh? and if you know how much body fat you have tell me. (%)
I went on a huge diet and work out plan this summer. i weighed 176 when school got out and i now weigh 156. Breakdancing and cardio helped me.
i Noticed now that i knocked out alot of my body fat its harder to loose weight because all the fat that was making me heavy is gone.
Maybe your pretty lean and loosing weigh isnt working because you have low body fat.

Are you eating enough? If not, you put your body in starvation mode and that slows your metabolism. With all your exercising you are gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Also, do you really need to lose weight?
I wouldn’t worry about the number on the scale–throw it away! You sound like you are starting to get obsessed.

You will want to donthe following:
1. Actually log all your foods. Use http://www.fitday.com for free for this
2. Do Anglos proven workout program like insanity or p90x. You will lose this way, I guarantee it.
3. Avoid overtraining and starving yourself.
One common mistake people make is eating too little and working out too much.
Please refer to my website for more information on all of this as there are so many things you could do wrong. Contact me directly through the site if you want and I will help you along your fitness journey

I am self taught but have learned the way to lose far…fast. It’s not a miracle, and fast means weeks and months but not years.

It might be just muscles. Muscles weigh more than fat, but appear 3 times leaner. The most important thing is how you look (when it comes to weight loss) if you look slimmer, but the scale has the same number, it just means you lost the fat, but you gained muscle (which is good) don’t worry, you want gain too much muscle, trust your body. It knows how much muscle you need.
But make sure you aren’t eating too little. You are working out a lot, and you might need more calories, just make sure it’s from healthy foods.
