Will I lose weight on my diet plan?
I need to lose 10 lb in 2-4 weeks. So I created my own plan with the help of some online advice:
- Exercise for 1 hour on the bike to lose 500 calories a day. (within 7 days it will equal 3500 calories, so a pound lost.
- Only eat half meals, and make the meals healthy. (Salads, fruits, veggies, etc.)
- No eating after 7.
- Only eat fruits for snacks.
- No fatty foods like cake and cookies.
- Try to eat very little carbs.
If I stick to this, can I lose 10 lb in 2-4 weeks?
Also, is there anything I can add to this to help boost my weight lose?
Please and thank you ;]
(P.S. No beverages except water, and LOTS of it!)
you will definitely lose weight if you stick to this plan, although its hard to predict exactly how much as everyone’s metabolism is different. assuming that you normally burn off around 1800 calories just by doing day to day activities, and that you consume roughly 1000 calories on this diet plan, you will lose about 6.5 lb in four weeks. add the 500 calories you burn off with the hour on the bike, and that’s 10 lb altogether in four weeks. achieving this weight loss in two weeks, however, would be extremely drastic, as you would have to eat virtually nothing - BIG NO-NO
as for the plan itself, i think it will be very effective and that nothing needs to be done to boost the weight loss. the only aspect of it that i would change is the carbohydrates - cuttting down the carbs you eat is only a temporary solution. you lose water weight rather than fat itself - so when you start eating the carbs again, you gain the ‘weight’ back because your body reabsorbs the water.
thus, it would be much wiser to eat carbs, but make sure that you dont eat large quantities, and that they are whole - like wholemeal or rye bread, oatmeal, etc etc.
keeping your Diet balanced will keep your body satisfied and will stop you from splurging on food.
good luck!
ps. also remember that you will probably gain muscle with excercise - so dont be too fussed if the scales show that you are a kg or so more than you expected to be, because muscle is heavier than fat.

You will only lose about 9lb in 2-4 weeks. SORRY! Try drinking lots of water!

I think it’s better to eat whatever you want, only in smaller portions…
Like half of what you normally eat… Then no eating after 6 or 7 pm…
Yeah small amount of carbs like 1 small cup of rice per meal…
Uhm… Just do cardio exercises for like 1&1/2 - 2 hours…
<Worked for me once… Want to try it again… Just don’t have time…>
