hey ya’ll im 16 I have high blood pressure and I’m a lil over weight what do ya’ll think I should do for diet?

I have no idea what to eat I really what and need to lose weight. My doc said if I don’t he’s going to put me on meds for the rest of my life and I really don’t want that I just want to be healthy please help me out ya’ll, Thanks

welll i have about the same problem except i dont need meds but for you dont listen to the oter response but a cause for high blood presssure is being overweight so you must be about 15 + lbs overweight so if you eat this plan i think it will work

Breakfast- 3/4 a cup of ceareal with skim or low fat milk and an apple or banana
Lunch- Half of a turkey and cheese sandwich with fruit or vegetable
Other- Fish with lemon
Dinner- Grilled chicken salad or just grilled chicken

Dont have food late at night
Drink at least 8 cups of water a day
Dont add anything extra to your food like salt or ketchup
Do at least an hour of cardio each day
Have at least 4 samll meals a day
Dont have anything grilled

One lb = 3500 calories so lets say your 10 lbs overweight you would multiply 3500 by 10 and thats how many calories you would need to loose.

    For me, your doctor means your going to take a lot of medications someday if you get stroke or something serious.
