Does drinking diet soda, juice, and water (well any liquid) really help you to not be hungry?


I know for a fact that Diet pepsi can make you hungry because its empty calories. The only beverage I have heard cuts hunger and helps burn calories is drinking Ice cold water.

    Yes to some extent. It’s all about filling up your stomach with stuff and distending it somewhat so you brain registers the same sensations as though actual food is there. However, unlike food, most drinks that are sugary will have the carbs absorbed in no time as well as the water, so ultimately the hunger WILL be back, albeit a bit later. This is a good way to stave off hunger for sometime, but you can’t beat it forever!

    1.- The problem is why you don’t want to be hungry.
    When you are hungry, your body is asking for food.
    2.- You can drink any liquid during the day.
    In this way you will be less hungry.
    3.- But If you don’t want to eat, it is not a good way for your mental and physical health.
    4.- If you don’t want to gain weight is preferable:
    . To drink two liters of water during the day.
    . Don’t drink soda, nor diet soda.
    . Forget the theme: food, obesity, body of model, etc. etc.
    . Eat what you want but in little portions.

    Water does help, it will help you to not eat as much. But, you don’t want to drink a ton of water just so you won’t eat all day, you want to drink a glass or two of water before lunch and dinner, and it will help you with portion control, you won’t eat just because you can, you’ll eat because you’re truly hungry.
    So, in a way, yes, water helps curb your appetite.
