lemonade diet ! help loosing weight ~?

two weeks until school, which i understand i will not be reaching my goal weight ! i got to distracted when it came to summer and i did plan to lose weight, but i failed ! summer went way to quicky, i want to try the lemonade diet but i was cerious if anyone knew ( say i did this for 3 weeks ) would i gain it all back, if i did do this i would eat just salmon, soup, and vegetables for awhile until i went back on normal food. i need a good diet where i could looose apx 20 pounds by the beginning of november. thanks.

Yes you will gain it back. The lemonade Diet is good for short term weight loss with short term results and it is very hard to do. I’m going to assume that you don’t know what your metabolic type is otherwise you would not need help. Everyone’s body processes food differently so I can’t tell you what to eat nor can anyone else until you find out your metabolic type.

    That is a very bad idea. It is only recommended adults do one week because it is such an unhealthy diet and potentially dangerous. It is a version of an ultra low calorie starvation diet. And yes, unless you change your habits that led to gaining the weight, you will gain it back when you eat normally again. Likely even more because your metabolism slows down after a few days to help conserve what few calories you take in.

    An easy, healthy way to help eat better is the No S Diet. Don’t let the name fool you. It’s more of a sensible eating plan than traditional deprivation diet. No counting point, calories, carbs, etc. Just 3 simple rules.

    1. No seconds.
    2. No sweets (this includes sodas and other sweet drinks)
    3. Not on S days (weekends and special holidays you can cheat)

    Cut out junk, sweets, seconds. Drink only water. Eat more fruits and veggies. An easy way to insure you are getting enough fruits and veggies is to divide your plate into quarters. First fill half your plate with fruits and veggies. The other quarters are lean protein and whole grain carbs.

    Some people have #2 as no snacks. I find I get headaches if I don’t eat more frequently. I’ll allow myself a healthy snack of a small piece of fruit or veggies. Just be sure no dressing or peanut butter with it. Studies have shown that it is better to have 3 medium size meals and 2 small snacks rather than just 3 large meals. This helps keep blood sugar more steady. Plus you won’t feel so hungry at meal times.
