Hi Lulu,

First of all great that actually DO exercise 30 minutes a day - that’s a good start!

Don’t beat yourself up just because you feel you have "cheated" it will do you no good!

Today is another day, so just try to avoid as much as the bad food as possible. Aim for eating healthy 6 days a week and one 1 day you eat anything you want!

IF or when it happens that you "cheat", don’t worry my friend, just be honest about it and again try to eat healthy! Eventually you well get better at it and your "cheating" will become less and less..

You don’t mention what kind of exercise you do, just make sure that it is something cardio.

Good luck, I’m sure you will reach your goals!

You didn’t cheat yourself, we all slip up on our strict diets from time to time but it doesn’t mean you need to freak out or punish yourself. If you think you cheated yourself just run and extra 15 mins or do something extra to make yourself feel better about it. You won’t gain weight from that unless your metabolism is just that bad.

Honestly, I can’t tell you if you will or not because you haven’t explained the exercises you’ve been doing specifically. But see, here’s the deal: that’s not important.

A lot of people end up cheating and get pretty disappointed with themselves. They think that they’ll never succeed with the diet and bam, just like that, it’s all over.

So even if you gained weight, don’t decide to jump off the diet bandwagon. Tell yourself that it was just a mistake, and that you’ll keep exercising. Bringing yourself down won’t help: in fact, it’ll make you feel like crap and not make you want to diet anymore- trust me on that one.

Just keep exercising! There are always low-fat alternatives, though if you ask me, if you’re truly dedicated to your diet, you’ll just stay away from anything like that at all. It’s harder for some people though, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy food. Instead of ice cream, try Yoplait or whatever company yogurt. They have lots of yogurt flavors with low calories and low fat. If you really feel a necesity for chips, go for the baked ones and not the fried ones. Chicken tacos? Replace it with a chicken sandwich with boiled or grilled chicken (NOT fried) and some good old, healthy bread to go with it.

Don’t feel down so that you want to cry- pick yourself up and start all over again. That’s the way you’ll succeed. Good luck!
