Please would you help me with a diet plan and other diet information?

Basically I am 13 years old and want to lose some weight to try and become a bit more self proud. I want to create a timetable of meals and routines.

1. How do you plan a meal timetable and what foods should you suggest I eat for breakfasts (please be specific and not say what food groups.

2. How do you plan a fitness routine and what exercises do you do?

3. Any other tips on losing weight?

The best way to lose weight is to eat a healthy balanced Diet and exercise 30 minutes a day, or at least 3 times / week. Staying away from fast food and junk foods and eating more fruits and veggies will help slim your waist line. Also, consulting a nutritionist will help create a meal plan that is the best for you.

Here’s some of my favorite items to purchase at the store:
green leaf lettuce, bananas, baby carrots, any other fruits or veggies that are on sale, low fat cheese, eggs, (lots of eggs, i mostly eat just the whites), kefir, low fat yogurt, cottage cheese, milled flax seed, skim milk, corn flakes, granola, vegetable juice, canned tuna, 100% whole wheat bread, lean beef, turkey, pork, and fish (when I really wanna spoil myself I’ll pick up a salmon fillet and bake it mmmm)

You can check comprehensive fitness DVD programs or ebooks / magazines on healthy diets on sites like http://bodytrainings.com/ . Information is power, so use it wisely! Sport can be fun when you’re doing a dance routine for example (see Ministry Of Sound – Pump It Up) or learning belly dancing. Or maybe yoga or stretching… Tons of possibilities :)

    In order to lose weight, you have to be PATIENT. :). Im going to give you a plan, but only for 1 day and maybe you can do it for the rest of the days or make slight adjustments :

    Morning: 400 Calories
    Lunch : 350 Calories
    Dinner: 550 Calories
    Snack : Sorry , no.

    Total : 1300 Calories. :D

    Morning : 400 Kcal*

    Cereal with milk 300 Kcal*

    A Apple 100 Kcal*

    20 Situps and 10 Press ups. / Try and walk some where.

    Lunch : 350 Kcal*

    Tuna Sandwich : 250 Kcal*

    A cup of orange juice : 100 Kcal

    ___________________________________

    Dinner : 550*

    Turkey burger : 300 Kcal*

    Vegetables : 150 Kcal*

    Orange Juice : 100 Kcal*

    Try and go gym. Try to burn at least 500 Kcal*.

    Extra’s ( Speed up metabolism ).

    For you to lose some more weight, we need to keep you out of starvation mode so you will :

    - Drink Green tea ( Burns calories when resting ).

    - Weight Training ( 5kg - 7kg round 100 reps a day ( Muscle burns fat ).

    - Drinking 8 cups of water.

    - Chew slowly. Every mouthful should be 45 seconds.

    I would have to agree with Eve,Grant. Fruits and vegetables are your best friend with weight loss. They actually burn body fat and boost your metabolism.

    On the fitness routine, I workout first thing in the morning before I eat. I will have a cup of hot tea before my workout. With you being 13, I would suggest cardio for your workout. Don’t use weight until your 16 or 17. If you have a bike go for a ride. In the afternoon go for a walk or jog to relax.

    Grant, make sure to make it fun whatever you do and keep your head up.
