teenage diet help……………….?

im in my early teens and im overweight. i want to lose weight so i feel more confident and feel happy about myself. please help. thanks

eat a well balanced Diet with proper portions, drink lots of water, and get at least 30 minutes of activity/exercise every day. this can be anything that you enjoy and that gets your heart pumping. stay away from junk food, greasy fried food, and sugary sweet food. this site can help.

    Usually when ppl diet, they go on an extreme diet for a few months –lose the weight–then gain it all back because they go back to their old ways.

    The best way to stay healthy and keep a good weight is to decide not only to diet, but change the way you eat as a healthier life choice.

    Make sure u get a good source of protein, vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water all day long. And limit ur junk food. For teenages junk food is one of the main causes of weight gain. I bet if u would cut out junk from ur diet, u would lose weight really easily. Things like cookies, chips , candy, sodas and ice cream are so tempting..so don’t completely take them out of ur diet. U can treat ur self every now and then. But do it in very small amounts, just to satisfy ur craving.

    When u drink juice, try to drink juices that are 100% juice instead of the ones filled with sugar.
    Instead of eating white bread replace it with wheat.

    I love pasta…but eating too much isn’t good because of all the carbs..so a lil trick I use is make sure ur pasta has more veggies or protein than the pasta. This way u get ur pasta and veggies too. (add whatever veg/protein u like)

    People are always afraid of the word "excersize" but all that means is do something that will get ur heart pumping. Do whatever you like…I like dancing, so u can just bump up the music and just dance like crazy for 30 minutes a day. If u like sports play a few times a week…u can bike ..u can swim…the choices are end less…u dont need a gym membership to get in shape…although a lot of ppl prefer the gym…which is all good too.
