What besides a healthy diet will help clear my acne?
I’m gonna start eating a healthy diet, drinking a lot of water, and exercising. What else could help clear my acne (face, neck, chest, and back) along with these changes? I also am going to take a multivitamin. I have oily, sensitive skin and I VERY easily get the marks leftover by acne even when I don’t pick at them(so I have lots of red marks). I wash with Cetaphil gentle skin moisturizer(my face dries out easily), and use Cetaphil lotion in the BIG bottle with the pump thingy. I use Queen Helenes mint julep masque on Sundays and Wednesdays and exfoliate 3 times a week with baking soda. Give me your BEST acne advice.
Please ans thanks. (:

One thing I do to keep my face clear is try my best to not touch my face. I also try to not mash my face into my pillow at night (although I love sleeping like this) so my face does not pick up the bacteria on my pillow. Also, anything that is constantly near your face, for example your phone, should be disinfected regularly because the bacteria that accumulates on your phone gets on your face then. Hope some of this helps!

There are medications that you can get from your doctor such as birth control. or if you don’t want to take Medicine ask your doctor for a topical cream that will clear it right up. You can even try drug store creams. Or no make up even.

Benzoyle Peroxide worksed the best for me.
Also, as a part of your healthy diet, GIVE UP DAIRY. I noticed results in 3 days when I became a vegan. try it.

I have combination skin (where it’s very oily at some parts and very dry in others).
That way, I have a very strict skin routine. I use Clearasil Clear Pore liquid (it’s blue) directly on the zit, Mary Kay acne cream directly on the zit, and The Body Shop’s moisturizer (any kind, they all work wonderfully). This has kept my skin fantastically/surprisingly clear–i used to have pretty bad skin.
Also, if you wear any makeup on you face (so like foundation, etc…) I have found that MAC Primer is very good. For me it prevents any makeup from clogging pores.

Although there is no cure, acne treatments are available to help control breakout activity. Acne treatments are divided into three categories: topical, systemic, and procedural. The course of treatment is determined by the type and severity of acne.
Knowing your grade of acne will help you choose the most effective treatment plan. Grade I and Grade II (mild to moderate acne) can often be treated with over-the-counter products. A dermatologist must treat Grade III and Grade IV (moderately severe to severe, or cystic acne).
It’s common to try several treatments before finding the one that works for you. Try not to get discouraged. And remember, with any acne treatment or therapy, consistency is key to a successful outcome.
