Will diet alone & light exercise help me lose 10 pounds?
I’m eliminating bread, pasta, potatoes, red meat (only for a while), cheese, and sweets. Instead I’m focusing on beans, raw and cooked vegetables, fruits, egg whites, whole grain/high fiber cereal, salad, avocados, cream-less soups, chicken, turkey, and salmon. I’m doing very light exercise such as jumping jacks, sit ups, crutches. Would all of this help me lose 10 pounds within the next month and a half?
Well, if you wanna lose weight and not keep it off forever, this will surely work. your <only for a while> makes me think you will get back to your regular routine sooner. I’m guaranteeing you, you will gain the 10 pounds which you lost in no time. If you don’t mind then its fine.
If you really mind, then know what? Have what you like. In small portions, 6 times a day. Don’t reduce much on anything. Just divide whatever you will usually have into 6. Don’t eat fried foods and other hi cal stuff often. And exercise, now if you wanna lose weight forever, light exercise will surely not help. You need to do a mix of cardio and abs. Cardio is very important. It is the prime factor which can boost your metabolic rate and your body will turn into a fat burning machine.
So yeah run some 3 to 4 miles everyday, that’ll do. You needn’t even really run, gradually increase your speed day by day. It’ll get you there. This approach will not make you lose quick weight but gradual weight loss is what you need to keep your weight off forever, I guarantee. Regards.
