i’ve recently heard of this lemon juice diet. anyone who’s tried it or knows about it?

i want to lose about 20 pounds and 3-5 inches before the summer and i’m not that devoted to anything. i tried counting the carbs and before i could lose anything.
i’ve heard drinking lemon juice will help me lose weight, is this true?
if not, are there any simple things i can use to help me lose weight without affecting my routine (exercising, etc) if i can eat something that will help me lose weight, that’s fine. i just don’t want to be fat during summer vacation

It’s just another fad Diet. There’s a grapefruit diet too.

Good carbs and good fats are the way to go. Avoid sugar and salt. And exercise. Eating one food isn’t going to make you lose weight. Wish it did.

Absolutely not. This scam "diet" makes you lose water weight by starving your body; you do not lose any fat, and since you’re starving yourself, you have to go back to eating normal food again and you will gain back all the "weight" you "lost" the second you start eating again - and you’ll gain extra because you lowered your metabolism during the starvation period.
