What is the best diet pill out there that’s safe but effective?

I’m looking to lose about eight pounds. I bought GNC Burn 60 - it looks safe, but so far I haven’t noticed that much difference. What (hopefully cheap) diet pills have other users used and seen significant difference with? Please don’t answer and tell me ’safe diet pill’ is an oxymoron - I’ve had people tell me that before.

If you know of one, great! If not, thanks, but don’t post & warn me of the dangers - I’m quite aware.

    Alli is probably the safest, it has been approved by the FDA, which in the long list of diet pills is hard to find. There are some side effects but if you eat healthy and exercise this is probably the pill for you. If you don’t eat healthy and still take the pill then…well read the package. The only problem I have heard about this pill is that people who already have high blood pressure should not take it because it may raise it. However, if your BP is healthy then you will be fine.

    I’m 52 years old….For most of my adult life I was about 160 lbs. I’ve done all the tricks, pills and diets. Two years ago, I finally found the answer and guess what!? It’s called eating less and excercizing. Now I’m 123 lbs, 5′2" and wearing size 5. It only took me 30 years to figure out what everybody had been saying all along.

    When I was in my 20’s I lost weight using "whites" amphetamines. They worked great until I passed out from not eating enough and was taken to the hospital…sorry, no good pills.
